The Physio Pilates Studio studio blends the principles of physiotherapy with the transformative power of Pilates to provide a unique approach to fitness and healing.

 

Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art Pilates equipment and therapeutic tools to facilitate targeted exercises that promote strength, flexibility, and mobility. We offer a range of specialized programs, including Scoliosis Therapy, Rehab Pilates, Studio Pilates and Small Group Reformer/Tower Classes.

Studio Pilates offers a personalized approach to fitness, with expert instructors guiding you through exercises tailored to your goals and abilities. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, private studio Pilates sessions provide a supportive environment to refine your technique, correct imbalances, and unlock your body's true potential. You will get familiar with the essential apparatus setup instructions to move forward into a semi-private or small group Pilates class.

Maximize your goals with a custom-designed workout across all the apparatuses in the studio to condition your body, tailored specifically your needs. You can expect hands-on adjustments and personalized cues to help you get the most out of your workouts.

 

In an intimate semi-private setting of just 2-3 participants we will guide you through safe customized workouts designed to tone muscle, increase bone density, enhance energy, relieve stress, and improve balance.

A small group Reformer/Tower combo class enhances accountability for both the client and the instructor while allowing the session to be customized to the group’s specific needs. Reformer Pilates offers numerous benefits, including improved core strength, enhanced flexibility, increased muscle tone, better posture, improved balance and heightened body awareness. The adjustable resistance of the springs allows for progressive overload, making it suitable for individuals of all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

We have standing time slots for private and semi-private sessions that we will book with you after your initial appointment. We want each of our instructors to know you by name and know what your body needs to provide you with the care and focus you deserve. Expect detailed instructions, hands-on cues, and individual corrections for proper alignment and form. Small group reformer and tower classes can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance.

The Schroth method of exercises for scoliosis teaches specific exercises and breathing techniques designed to elongate the spine and correct imbalances. As a result, individuals with scoliosis experience decreased pain, a slowing or complete halting of curvature progression, and improved posture, cardio-pulmonary function and mobility.

 

Schroth-based Pilates integrates Schroth method principles of elongation, breath control, counterflexion and derotation techniques to optimize alignment with Pilates principles designed to optimize posture, stability, flexibility and balance.

Pilates Based Physical Therapy is a comprehensive approach to get to the roots of your injury/pain and reduce risk for future injury. Integrating Pilates, our method aims to enhance core strength, flexibility, and posture, allowing you to move with greater ease. The first visit includes a comprehensive initial evaluation with a Physical Therapist to address your whole body, not just the symptomatic zone.

Injuries and physical limitations don't have to sideline your fitness journey. Enter the world of Rehab Pilates, where effective exercises are customized to rehabilitate injuries, alleviate pain, and restore optimal function. Under the guidance of a physical therapist, Rehab Pilates utilizes modified movements, props, and therapeutic techniques to target specific areas of concern while correcting imbalances and  promoting overall wellness. It's a holistic approach to recovery that empowers individuals to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.

Circuit style class led by a physical therapist; includes equipment-based and mat-based Pilates exercises across to condition your body, tailored specifically to your needs, ability, and goals. We’ll train you to move your body from a place of strength, stability, and control. Classes are kept small so they can be closely monitored and individualized to cater to each person’s needs, ensuring you stay safe while exercising to your highest capability. Appropriate for pre or post-surgical client, pre or post natal women, injured athletes, patients with scoliosis/osteoporosis/other medical conditions or those suffering from chronic pain.

You must take at least 4-6 private lessons before entering our group circuit class.

We try offer standing time slots for all PT services including Rehab Pilates, Semi Private Group circuit classes and Schroth based Pilates; we will book these with you after your initial appointment.
